Who may be eligible?
- Have an outstanding academic record, typically ranking among the top 10% of the bachelor’s programme.
- Apply for an eligible ETH Zurich master’s degree.
- Must not already hold a master’s degree or be enrolled in a master’s programme at ETH Zurich.
- Submit the scholarship application within the first master’s application window.
- Prepare an original master’s thesis pre-proposal and any required references.
How to proceed
- Review the official ESOP requirements and eligible master’s programmes.
- Apply to the master’s programme through ETH Zurich’s online application system between 2026-11-01 and 2026-11-30.
- Select the ESOP scholarship option in the application.
- Upload the required master’s admission documents and thesis pre-proposal.
- Submit any required reference information and complete the application before the deadline.
