OpportunityPilot aims to make opportunity information clear, useful and traceable to an original source.

Sources and checks

We prioritise official government, university, employer, research institution and programme-provider sources. Before publishing, editors should check the source URL, opportunity type, eligibility information, application process and any stated deadline.

AI-assisted content

AI may assist with extraction, summarisation, formatting and draft writing. AI output is not itself proof that an opportunity exists. Drafts should be reviewed against the source before publication, and uncertain claims should be flagged rather than invented.

Updates and corrections

Opportunity details can change. We aim to show when a source was last checked, correct errors when identified and mark expired or unconfirmed listings clearly. Readers should always verify final requirements on the official provider's website.

Independence

Sponsored content and advertising are always clearly labelled, and sponsor links are marked as sponsored. Payment never buys a listing, a ranking or a more favourable description, and it does not change eligibility information. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial decisions.

Talent Hub and shop standards

Talent profiles, gigs and reviews are written by members, not by us. We review gigs before they go live where this is enabled, remove content that breaks our terms, and act on reports. A Verified badge means we checked the basic details stated at the time. Shop products are described by us; delivery and refund rules are in the shop policy.

Reporting a problem

If you spot an error, an expired listing, a suspicious gig or a misleading profile, use the report button on the page or contact us. We investigate and correct confirmed errors quickly.
